We build full-scale custom software for 3 selected founders each month. Instead of charging the full market cost upfront, Volt X covers the development risk. You pay £4,870 to begin and £4,960 at launch. The remaining balance of £39,840 is recovered automatically as a percentage of your user transactions via a capped Stripe integration. If your platform does not process payments, you do not pay the balance.

Every application is built using custom-coded infrastructure on a standardized tech stack (Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Node.js, and Supabase). We transfer full repository and server ownership upon contract completion.
Component 1
Main Application - The Operations Engine
The core application where you and your providers, suppliers, and internal teams run the business day to day: assign and fulfill distributed responsibilities, split revenue, support customers, resolve issues, and track operational performance. Built with Next.js and React, with multi-tenant database routing, server-side data tables, client-side sorting, and native filtering controls.

Database & Access Management
The secure data foundation that keeps every user, role, partner, and business record isolated, auditable, and accessible only to the people who need it. Hosted on Supabase PostgreSQL with Row Level Security (RLS) policies, connection pooling for high concurrency, and multi-factor authentication (MFA/OAuth) across your internal teams, providers, and customers.

Storefront/Landing Page - The Commercial Engine
The public-facing commercial layer where prospects discover your offer, browse product and service plans, and convert into paying customers. Includes a marketing website and dynamic catalog for both physical and digital products and professional services, with native Stripe integration for recurring subscriptions, tiered packages, usage-based pricing, and metered billing.
Component 4
Content Management & System Logging
The editorial and observability layer that lets your team publish marketing pages, product copy, and blog content without waiting on developers, while tracking how users behave and where the system fails in production. Integrated headless CMS (Sanity or Payload CMS) for structured content updates, with Sentry and PostHog pre-configured for error logging and product analytics from day one.

The Setup
The application is deployed directly to a Stripe account owned by your business. Our core platform connects to it as a management layer via Stripe Connect.
The Logic Engine
When an end-user processes a payment, the server evaluates the total amount recovered to date. If the amount is below £39,840, the transaction executes a programmatic split (e.g., 80% to your business bank account, 20% to Volt X).
The Hard Stop
The database runs an automated counter. The exact moment the total transferred amount hits £39,840, the conditional split logic switches off permanently. All subsequent revenue routes 100% to your account.

If our engineering team fails to deliver a fully functional, live production environment within 56 days of your cohort start date, you hold the contractual right to terminate the agreement. The remaining balance of £39,840 is tied explicitly to system transaction volume. If your platform does not generate revenue, Volt X absorbs the development cost.
